eaTO Modern Indian Eatery

We found this place when searching for Indian Fast Food. When we arrived we were the only ones there. The person at the counter took our order and told us to have a seat. No interactions, no smiles or friend either contrary to all other reviews. Infact there weren't a lot of staff either on premise. We waited for our order to arrive while we made ourselves comfortable. The ambience is nice, especially if you relate to older Bollywood movies and stars. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Rice, and Pizza Naan. Pizza Naan is a must have, great taste, texture and was well done. Pab Bhaji was below our expectation, soggy, too much oil, bland taste. The rice was not tatsy either. Oily, not tatsy, and could have been prepared better. Based on our reviews of the place, we found that one can get a dessert for free after a certain bill amount. We were not made ware niether are there any signs on the menu that day so. Overall, it was an okay experience for us on that day and time.

Ordered in street snacks from this space last day. The restaurant has a variety of options, ranging from chaats, samosa sliders, vada pav, pav bhaji, butter chicken, tandoori, makhani, afghani momos, lamb kathi roll, to create your own bowls. The menu looked promising and I was excited to try some of their signature dishes. I ordered the tandoori momos with minced chicken inside, which are steamed dumplings marinated in tandoori spices and grilled in a clay oven. They sounded mouth-watering and I was expecting a burst of flavour and juiciness. The momos have 4 modes of preparation to choose from : Tandoori, Malai, Chili and Makhani. However, I was very disappointed when I received my order. The momos were raw and undercooked, the chicken was pink and rubbery, and the tandoori sauce was bland and watery. Giving eaTO a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars, but I look forward to trying this a few times to see if there is a change in the same.
